Google Play Newsstands has some great features, but here are our favourites.

Google’s latest app project has seen them blend Play Magazines and Currents into one app. It offers users a one stop place to get all the news they want, while not having to search around for one of their magazine subscriptions. We’ve spent some time with the app and found some great features that every Android users should check out.
  1. Each news story and magazine is available to read offline whenever you like. Simply bookmark them as you read them and they’ll download on to your device.
  2. Similar to the likes of Flipboard and Pocket, Newsstand enables users to subscribe to specific topics of interest. It then notifies you when a news story has been uploaded in those categories.
  3. When adding new news sources to your list in Newsstand, you can also leave a review in the same way you leave an app review on the Play Store. Make sure to check these out and see if the news source is worth subscribing to.
  4. The fantastic Wishlist feature which is predominantly used for apps has been brought into Newsstand for users to add news sources and specific issues of magazines.
  5. News stories can now be shared to other users by using the Share feature located at the top of the app. It’s a great way of getting others to read the latest headlines.
There’s a lot of additional features to check out in Google Play Newsstand, so make sure you check it out right away!
